 According to the new security rules from the Transportation and Security Administration, if you pack a device containing batteries, secure it against activation by locking the activation switch in the "off" position, placing the device in a protective case, or by other appropriate measures.
Brightstar creates a new cover which can keep the light be switched off during transit. So the light with Li-ion battery won't have a short circuit on the plane.
Now every Brightstar Darkbuster series will come equipped with a Switches protection cover from now on.
